Su padre se dedicaba a decorar arcones y all\u00ed en ese taller, comenz\u00f3 su aprendizaje. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La familia viaja a Am\u00e9rica y en octubre de 1923 llegaron a Buenos Aires. Le\u00f3n fue el fileteador m\u00e1s respetado entre sus colegas. Trabaj\u00f3 en Carrocer\u00edas Carassai y en el taller La Veneta. Antes que fileteador Le\u00f3n Untroib se reconoc\u00eda como artista pl\u00e1stico y era un excelente retratista.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Particip\u00f3 en el Sal\u00f3n Nacional en 1964. Se dice que es creativo, a aquel artista que en algo perfectamente conocido descubre aspectos desconocidos. En este sentido, Le\u00f3n fue un creativo del filete porte\u00f1o y due\u00f1o de un estilo personal y \u00fanico, sus trabajos lograron combinar con armon\u00eda la exuberancia y la belleza de las formas cl\u00e1sicas del filete. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trabaj\u00f3 por a\u00f1os pintando carrocer\u00edas y cajas de camiones en el taller La V\u00e9neta, y sus fileteados siempre lograron aquello que consideraba lo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil: la unidad. Eran tiempos de oro del filete. TeBeCe y TeDeGe, Gracias a los viejos, Anda que te cure Hortensia que Lola est\u00e1 de licencia, Nena que curvas y yo sin freno, o El Morocho del Abasto eran algunas de las inscripciones, generalmente en letra g\u00f3tica, que acompa\u00f1aban a los sutiles delineados, a las banderas, sirenas, a los dragones, las flores de cinco p\u00e9talos, o las im\u00e1genes encerradas en c\u00edrculos de Gardel, San Mart\u00edn o la Virgen de Luj\u00e1n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Entre las obras de Untroib no aplicadas a veh\u00edculos, destacan la puerta de legendaria Corrientes 348, la placa boquense ubicada en calle Su\u00e1rez y Necochea, la esquina m\u00edtica del tango, y el mural de la estaci\u00f3n Carlos Gardel de la l\u00ednea B de Subterr\u00e1neos de Buenos Aires, Julio C Brittez. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los trabajos de Untroib son un regalo para los ojos, un estallido de colores, de ternura, de alegrias, donde el estilo rococ\u00f3 se une con lo creativo oriental. Sus dragones, sus aves, sus rizos, sus banderas, sus sirenas, sus soles y sus flores no son otra cosa que sabias combinaciones de tonos y matices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cada obra de Untroib, cuadro o filete, es una entrega total, \u00fanica, original, propia de un artista de jerarqu\u00eda mundial que desborda dignidad
