Fu\u00e9 un fileteador tradicionalista de Mataderos, desarroll\u00f3 su oficio en un pintoresco taller en el coraz\u00f3n de su barrio. Se fue muy joven, a los 48 a\u00f1os de edad, dejando en su valiosa obra y su innumerable cantidad de disc\u00edpulos, un gran legado.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su camino como fileteador comienza a los 17 a\u00f1os de edad. Apenas termina el secundario art\u00edstico Fernando Fader consigue un empleo en una empresa de camiones como aprendiz del fileteador Manolo Fleitas. De la mano de Manolo, a la vieja usanza, Memo recibe todos los saberes del fileteado tradicional sobre carros y camiones. Con total conciencia del valor de ese legado, inicia una etapa de investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo del estilo m\u00e1s antiguo de este arte.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En su trayectoria pint\u00f3 cientos de carros de todo tipo, muchos de ellos premiados en desfiles y concursos, tambi\u00e9n una gran cantidad de autom\u00f3viles y camiones antiguos, carteles, cuadros, objetos y murales, desarrollando un gusto exquisito, de gran colorido y manteniendo un estilo tradicional que caracteriz\u00f3 toda su obra.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s trabaj\u00f3 junto al restaurador de carruajes Carlos Collucci, siempre en el camino de la preservaci\u00f3n del fileteado. Sus trabajos viajaron a Italia, Espa\u00f1a, M\u00e9xico y Paraguay.<\/span><\/p><p><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 1997 realiz\u00f3 su primera exposici\u00f3n en el Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas. De ah\u00ed en m\u00e1s comienza una serie de exposiciones individuales y colectivas a lo largo de su carrera, hasta que en 2011 impulsa la realizaci\u00f3n del Primer Encuentro de Fileteadores junto a Jos\u00e9 Espinosa, siendo la piedra fundamental para la creaci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Fileteadores, de la que fue socio fundador y su primer presidente.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fu\u00e9 sin dudas un referente fundamental del Filete, dedicando su vida a mantenerlo vivo, inspirando a nuevas generaciones con su ejemplo.
